The game features new multi-link turn battles that feature six party members divided in two teams. The game begins when players encounter enemies while exploring. Combat is enhanced with a variety of unique features and actions, such as unique Dual Trigger skills that involve two team members attacking with one another.

The game has an easy-to-use puzzle-like synthesis system where you place ingredients on a panel to make new objects. It is possible to use the Standard Panel or Restricted Panel for a higher level of difficulty as well as the amount of reward.
